Lovely site ,the owners were very welcoming toilets and showers were very clean,a short walk into village where theres a shop,Lovely pub that did a nice meals.6 miles from lake vyrnwy ,oh a little park for the children and a football pitch to play on,if you want a peaceful site to go to then this is the site for you.will definitely going back

This camping site is overpriced for the facilities provided which are very limited. The way it is advertised is not accurate as they lack the dishwashing sink, the fishing river is not for real fishing but is more of a small brook that passes through the site, maybe for children to learn fishing. And any outdoor activity is over half an hour drive. There is also a working farm that starts making a lot of noise at midnight after 12, they gather their sheep and the dog barks constantly for an hour.The only good thing about the site are the views of the mountainsBut it is very overpriced at £34 a night, there are many options of much better camping sites with great facilities and amazing activities. I do not recommend it and we will never book it again.

The wifi is free and works really well for a campsite wifi! Toilet facilities are really good and has a lovely river with swings and other places to play.

We stayed here for the first time this week, absoloutley lovely site with the river passing through, a small beach and lovely children's play area, a hidden gem of a site! Great facilities and lovely owners would highly reccomend!

Stunning location , so peaceful with a lovely river to play , swim and fish in. Touring pitches right next to the river. Owners friendly, helpful and relaxed. Dogs and children made really welcome. Poor phone reception/signal in places but no bother for us. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ visit

Lovely site, toilet and shower block clean and tidy, only one shower, pub & shop 10 mins walk, only downside was the cowpats in the children's parc area from the cows, due to a damaged fence (farmers fault tho). But would definitely go there again.

Travelling Tourers can park alongside the river. Beautiful setting. Grass doesn't waterlog. Basic but clean shower block. We use our own facilities and loved this site.

A beautiful and idyllic campsite nestled in the hills, lovely river that runs through it which you can have a dip in. The owners are extremely welcoming and advise on local amenities when checking you in. We will certainly be staying at this little gem again in the near future.

I have been using this site for many years. Initially as a tourer, moving onto a small static and finally a large caravan. I can honestly state this is a beautiful place, well maintained and peaceful. A little patch of Heaven, no matter what the weather.

Just arrived had only booked one night but going to book extra as its so nice and peaceful its excellent for children to play in the river there's a football pitch and small park with picnic tables the scenery is fabulous such a gem glad we found it will definitely book again with our families

A lovely little haven. A river running through the parc with a bridge to cross over for a short walk for the dog or for the children to access a little play area or picnic area. Facilities include toilets and one shower in each block. Waste disposal. Recycling ♻️. Fresh water point. Local village within walking distance with local pub The Railway ... booking advised for meals..no dogs allowed in pub. Still wearing asks and covid rules apply.

We have family and friends with caravans here and we had a van for a number of years. It is a well run and well maintained site in a quiet part of the countryside. It is within easy driving distance from Vernwy, Bala and Welshpool. The site affords spectacular views, a river, and camping and touring caravan sites. It is possible to rent a van for a peaceful and restful holiday.
