Terms of Service & Useful Information - Touring

The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behaviour is deemed unsuitable. No refunds will be offered.

  • Check in time is from 12pm onward. Please let us know if you plan to arrive after 5pm.
  • Check out time is by 10:30am. Late departure is possible but maybe subject to a charge.
  • We will put pegs out for customers when we’re busy, if you’re arriving later than 5pm then please make your way to the touring area and locate the peg along the river bank with your name on. Please reverse up to that as centrally as you can. If we’re quiet then you can take your pick.
  • Our short stay pitches are all on grass along the riverbank with electric hook up included within the price. Each hook up post has 3 sockets please locate your nearest one.
  • We do not cater for tents.
  • Awnings permitted with breathable ground sheets only.
  • Bookings may be subject to a non-refundable deposit.
  • Payment is due on arrival. 
  • Payments are accepted by card, cash or cheque only.
  • The chemical waste disposal and bin area can be found on your left hand side just as you drive onto the touring pitch.
  • Do NOT put any wipes down the chemical waste as it will cause blockages.
  • Do NOT put hot ashes/coals into the waste bins.
  • Please seperate your general waste into the appropriate recycling bins.
  • The toilet and shower block can be found on your left as you drive onto the touring area.
  • We do not provide facilities for washing dishes. Please refrain from using the shower block for this purpose.
  • There is a small laundrette on site, please ask at the office for details.
  • Your fresh water is obtainable from 2 taps on the touring area. 
  • Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead and supervised at all times.
  • Please ensure that you clean up after your dog!
  • On the touring area if you wish to watch Freeview it is possible but the signal is weak. A standard caravan aerial is unlikely to work. Most of our regular customers who want to watch TV use larger aerials or portable satellite dishes.
  • The majority of mobile providers have a 3G & 4G phone signal on the caravan park.
  • Wifi is available on site at no extra charge. 
  • The river can be fished without charge. Customers who use the river for fishing are expected to have their own rod licence.
  • The river is not stocked.
  • No hen/stag parties permitted
  • Single-sex bookings of 5 or more people (couples and immediate family members excepted) are not permitted.
  • Barbecues are permitted but must be raised off the ground and attended by an adult at all times.
  • Open fires are prohibited.
  • Ball games are permitted in the area provided over the river. No ball games are allowed on the touring pitch.
  • Please respect your fellow guests by ensuring that noise levels are kept to a minimum after 10pm.
  • Firearms are not permitted.
