A Big Week at Minafon – New Caravan on the Wall
It’s been an exciting week here at Minafon Caravan Park, with a big milestone for us as we welcomed a new static caravan onto the site.
We’ve recently taken delivery of a beautifully refurbished 2014 Willerby Rio Gold, which has now been sited on one of our elevated pitches up on the wall. It’s a fantastic spot, offering a slightly different perspective across the park, and after putting a lot of work in at Minafon over winter we’re really pleased with how it’s all come together.
For anyone looking for a static caravan for sale at Minafon Caravan Park, this is a great opportunity. The Willerby Rio Gold is a popular model, and this particular unit has been refurbished to a high standard by Salop Leisure, making it an ideal holiday home.
This was the first time we’ve had a caravan positioned up on the wall since taking over the park (although it has been done here many years ago), we’ll admit we were a little unsure how straightforward it would be.
As it turned out, we needn’t have worried. The delivery team, also from Salop, were outstanding from start to finish. Despite the challenge the pitch presented, they handled everything with real skill and professionalism, and it was impressive to watch. Even working at the park it’s not something you see every day, and they made a tricky job look easy.

In other news, we’ve been treated to some lovely weather this week, with plenty of sunny spells to enjoy around the park. Long may it continue—it certainly feels like a promising sign of what’s to come as we head further into the season.
